Ember Women's Theatre's production of Life Alert by Chris Sherman will take place Fridays and Saturdays at 8:00pm, October 29-30, and November 5-13, at MadLab Theatre, 227 N 3rd Street.
This is a world debut for new work Life Alert. The play explores family, duty, and dreams with a comedic but heartfelt lens. Retired teacher Annie is eager to restart her playwriting career. But, when her mother has a sudden fall she must come to live with Annie and her husband on Manhattan’s Upper West Side, disturbing Annie’s hope for peace and quiet.
